  • We do not store full credit or debit card information; payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal).
  • Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

4. Custom and Personalised Items

Many of our products are made to order and may be customised or personalised. Please ensure all details, spellings, and design specifications are correct before placing your order.

We are not responsible for errors submitted by the customer at the time of ordering.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • We will take all reasonable steps to ensure orders are dispatched within the estimated timeframe provided at checkout.
  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays or external factors.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage once an item has been delivered to the address supplied, but we will assist where possible in liaising with couriers.

6. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Items

Due to the nature of our products being largely customised and personalised, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

If an item is faulty or damaged upon arrival:

  • You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order at theetcheryco@outlook.co.nz;
  • Please provide photographic evidence of the fault or damage;
  • Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

No refunds will be issued for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.

All content on this website — including product designs, text, graphics, logos, and images — is the intellectual property of The Etchery & Co and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
